Contractors bill for a mix of labor and materials, and clients want to see the split. An itemized contractor invoice — hours and rate for labor, cost for materials — is easier to approve than a single lump sum, and it's the record you'll need if there's ever a dispute over what the job cost.
How to use it: Break labor and materials into their own lines; itemized invoices get questioned less and paid faster. Note the job address so the invoice ties to the right project. Everything except the document is stripped from the printout automatically, so what you see is what prints. To email a copy, choose "Save as PDF" as the destination in the print dialog — no software to install.
