A simple receipt template that proves a payment was made. Enter who paid, what for, and the amount — it totals automatically, including tax if you need it.
A receipt is proof that money changed hands. The person who paid keeps it as evidence of the transaction; you keep a copy as your record of income. Note the date paid and the payment method — those two details are what turn a note into a usable receipt.
How to use it: A receipt is issued after payment, unlike an invoice, which requests it. Mark the payment method and keep a copy for your own records. Everything except the document is stripped from the printout automatically, so what you see is what prints. To email a copy, choose "Save as PDF" as the destination in the print dialog — no software to install.
